We encourage more people to participate in the open-source community through this tabletop game, helping beginners quickly grasp open-source culture, project collaboration, and the benefits of open-source initiatives. This game, whether in its physical or online version, is open for everyone to use freely.
Through playing the game, players will come to understand:
- The core values of open-source culture, including open definitions and the four fundamental freedoms.
- The advantages of open-source.
- The organization and functioning of open-source communities.
- How to participate in collaborative open-source projects.
- Important and interesting open-source, open-government, and open-data projects worldwide and in Taiwan.
- Events for introducing and initiating open-source culture, such as "Open Source Newbie 101" and "Open Source Tech Training Camp."
- Gatherings of open-source communities.
- Everyday entertainment.
- Number of Players: 3-6 players
- Game Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
