The OHW MHW team encountered some differences in the climatology calculation when compared to Oliver's original code. As noted by Eric, for the new package to be successful:

... We would need to do extensive testing to make sure the output is identical

Clearly articulating, showing with an example, and understanding the difference in the climatology calculation would be useful before we figure out how to fix it?
