Hello!
I'm interested in the challenges. But I'm in trouble downloading the data. So, can you share the data via the e-mail ([email protected])?

Hi,
You may download the data at the following address:

  • for the pseudo-observation: https://ige-meom-opendap.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/thredds/catalog/meomopendap/extract/ocean-data-challenges/dc_data1/dc_obs/catalog.html

  • for the reference state: https://ige-meom-opendap.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/thredds/catalog/meomopendap/extract/ocean-data-challenges/dc_data1/dc_ref/catalog.html

  • for the reconstruction in the data-challenge: https://ige-meom-opendap.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/thredds/catalog/meomopendap/extract/ocean-data-challenges/dc_data1/dc_mapping/catalog.html

Hi,
The links to data seem not available, and the data from AVISO+ website misses the time variable. Is there still any possible way to download the data? Thank you!

Hi,
Yes we had an issue with the temporary server crashing. This is why the links to the meom opendap (see mballaro's comment above) were no longer active. I am currently reloading the data to the same link so it should be working now.
However, the data needed to work on the data challenge (dc_obs and dc_ref) are supposed to be the same on Aviso+. So I'm not sure what you mean by the time variable is missing ?

Thank you very much for your response and help, the link to the temporary server works great. The dc_obs data from Aviso+ is Ok, but when I read the reference data downloaded from https://tds.aviso.altimetry.fr/thredds/ncss/2020a-SSH-mapping-NATL60-grid/dataset.html using netCDF4 with Python, the time variable is masked. Not sure if I downloaded it properly.
