MERGE PHONE APP

Ive been using a work profile app and it uses phone app for calls and while I click for call it uses personal phone app and it was all good but suddenly it switched to work profile for calls the problem is I'm in a call in personal app and if I click the call in work profile it uses work phone app in background to make that call the personal call is being on hold and the work app is not even showing in notification I can't end or merge untill I cut the personal call and then cut the work app call . All I want is work profile to route all calls through personal phone app so I can use any app and make calls .. if I'm missing something pls let me know any further details I'm happy to help
