Describe the bug
Trying to run the Samples/RHI/RayTracing sample hard-freezes my system on Linux after a few seconds.
Testing with the debugger, it takes between 5-15 seconds for the freeze to occur, testing without the debugger it typically freezes within the first one or two seconds.

Steps to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Checkout the most recent version of o3de and the o3de-atom-sampleviewer (SHA provided below)
  2. Try to run Samples/RHI/RayTracing on Linux with -rhi=vulkan

Expected behavior
This test case works on my machine on Windows but hard-freezes on Linux.

Actual behavior
Hard-freezes system on Linux.
