Deadline function not working

Input : ​deadline finish quiz /by 11/11/2019 2359, which is from UG.
Result: (>_<) OoPS!!! I'm sorry, but I don't know what that means :-(

Hi, it works on our end by inputting directly into the Jar File. I believe it has something to do with copying and pasting the command directly from the .pdf file (Prof stated that sometimes copying from .pdf etc will result in errors due to the encoding of additional "hidden" characters, resulting in the failure to capture the exact string)
