I think there is a lot of low hanging fruit for optimization of gigaparsec.

For example:

  • Use Text or even Addr# instead of String.
  • Stack is implemented as a linked list structure where an array might be more performant.
  • Check if there are inefficiencies by looking at the generated Core.
