Chris Wilson's synth accesses a private file (cwMIDISynth/sounds/irRoom.wav).
The synth can only be copied without changes to different apps if the position of this file remains the same in all the apps.
I think that means that synths must always be added to apps at the root level of their directory structure. In an app using two different synths, the structure would be:

appRootFolder
    synth1Folder
    synth2Folder
    ...
    more app folders and files
    ...
