Myself and the Kompute team are thrilled to see the adoption and extension of the project into the gpt4all project. There seem to be a few interesting extensions in the fork of the project, and we would be interested to explore this further in two ways:
In the immediate term support on further requirements / issues to enable the functionality required to support the full capability of the gpt4all project.
In the short/medium term explore how we can merge these changes into the top level Kompute repository to support the further development
Motivation
We are seeing some interesting extensions in the Kompute fork which could benefit the broader community. In parallel we understand that right now the fork is most likely serving a purpose to move fast to enable the backend of gpt4all, so we're open to contribute to the fork and/or support on any questions that arise extending the framework.
Your contribution
We are happy to submit PRs and/or support with issues / PR review as the authors of the Kompute project.

@cebtenzzre we've created KomputeProject/kompute#352 to integrate the contributions from Nomic upstream to Kompute so the top level project can be used directly.
There's quite a lot of contributions that we were keen to add in the future versions, including the ability to manage buffers exeternally - it would be great to explore this further to align it to the latest changes in the top level repo.
If you want to create the PR directly that would work as well, so we can start adding some suggestions as comments, and we are also able to support on some of the extensions / integration.
