Reporting a Vulnerability

We take security vulnerabilities seriously and appreciate your help in responsibly disclosing them to us. To report a vulnerability, please follow these steps:

  1. Create an Issue: Go to the Issues tab on our GitHub repository and create a new issue.

    • Title: Briefly describe the nature of the vulnerability.
    • Description: Provide detailed information about the vulnerability, including steps to reproduce and potential impact.

  2. Response Time: Expect an initial response within 24 hours on business days. We'll keep you informed as we investigate and address the issue.

  3. Vulnerability Assessment: Upon receiving your report:

    • Accepted: We'll confirm and assess the vulnerability's impact on supported versions.
    • Declined: Issues deemed out of scope will be explained in detail.

  4. Fix and Release: After confirming a vulnerability, we'll prioritize and release a fix as soon as possible.

  5. Public Disclosure: Patches will be released simultaneously with the public disclosure to ensure prompt user protection.
