There is no istio_request_count indicator in prometheus

Sorry this hasnt been updated since pre 1.0 release, In newer Istio versions mixer no longer exists so metrics are gathered differently now.

Will support istio 1.5?
Metrics have changed a lot. There's one more index 'reporter="source"'.

i have gotten this to work with istio 1.9 but i would suggest you look at this grafana integration as it is more active https://grafana.com/grafana/plugins/novatec-sdg-panel/
