In the rendered version of the tutorial, I feel the feature of hiding the solution when you have stated the exercise is great. I was wondering if you can apply similarly the hiding of the solution in the jupiter notebook that you get when you launch the binder ?
Because what happened to me is that, while reading the tutorial on the binder interactive notebook rather than on the rendered version, I read the solution of the exercise and then I was noticing that I should actually have thought about the answer.

Another suggestion regarding solutions : maybe you could add a cell just after the statement of the exercise where people can type their answer.

done here and here

Temporary solution was to create separate Jupyter notebooks but this isn't sustainable in the long term.

Investigate possible solutions:

  • sphinx-exercise admonition
  • automated jupytext conversion using GitHub Actions
