Is it possible to add a simple reboot option?

I have constant connectivity issues with my router, it drops out a few times a day, and the current fix is to just reboot the router. Three wont do anything about it (there are LOTS of people having the same issues), so thinking of writing a script that polls for internet connectivity, and if the internet is down, automatically reboot the router. Adding an option to this that can reboot via a shell command will be perfect!
