E-mail address to authenticate and also as account's e-mail address when registering

I use this extension for IMAP authentication.
On first sign in, it's useful that it creates the user account without requiring user to access web interface. Very good.

But account is created with e-mail address as username and empty e-mail data.
How to do created account acquires same e-mail address to fill e-mail field?

I'm facing the same issue. Mail app needs manual configuration when there is no email address configured in user's account.
I have two usecases:

• Login with [email protected] => Username = localpart, Email = [email protected]
• Login with localpart => Username = localpart, Email = localpart@

So I need some default-domain to be configureable.
