[Bug]: Missing context menu item since last update #7589
Comments
It's probably not a bug, they've replaced this with "Share options", which opens a nextcloud UI window. What took two clicks now takes FIVE, and the window can't be even closed with the default OS shortcut (cmd-W on Mac). It's infuriating. |
I can't believe that - can't find any discussion about changing this elemental feature in such a way. My users will have already dug out their pitchforks and will be (rightfully) asking to let go of NextCloud altogether. |
Ah so its apparently not a bug, but a 'feature': "improve files explorer context menu by removing obsolete commands". Why is a handy button that i, and others too, used more than daily an obsolete command? I've found the share options now, but using that is indeed a worse experience, worsened by the fact that the buttons do not have any icons for me, so i need to guess which to press when i want to make a share link, since there also is no mouse hover tooltip for said buttons, as you can see in this screenshot. |
Please let NC know this is BS. |
so this is full of hatred speech |
