Bug description

After updating from version 3.13.4 to 3.14.1, 3.14.2 or 3.14.3 pressing the Nectcloud icon in the top menu is no longer giving any response.
The regular menu is no longer showing up. So it is neither possible to check the status of single accounts nor to stop the client or change any settings. My specific configuration contains 5 accounts, which work as expected up to client version 3.13.4.

Steps to reproduce

Connect multiple accounts (I use 5 of them) within the same Nextcloud desktop client instance with desktop version 3.13.4.
Update to version 3.14.3.
Click the Nextcloud icon in the head menu.

Expected behavior

The menu of nextcloud is shown - offering functionalities to add accounts, pause synchronization, change settings or stop the Nextcloud client.

I can confirm the behaviour on Linux (openSUSE Tumbleweed), Nextcloud Desktop version 3.14.2 (but I noticed the behaviour with other recent versions as well).

Is the window not showing or is it shown at a different location (like in #6217)?

I am the one who has been having the same problem on Linux. But the 3.14.3 udpate seems to have fixed this.

For me with MacOS 15.2 beta it is still not working. Just checked again with latest client version 3.14.3.
Behaviour is as follows:

  • click on Nextcloud symbol in top menu line: nothing happens - I would expect to see the accounts list and "settings" for all of my accounts
  • double click on Nextcloud symbol in top menu: a Finder window opens for one of my accounts
  • hover over Nextcloud symbol: a small black status window shows that all of my five accounts are in synch.

Installed client version 3.15.1 - still not working for me.
Neither from clean install nor from upgrade (3.13.4 last one working OK)
Can there be a problem with Sequoia / Open Core Legacy?

With 3.15.2 issue still persists on my MacBook Pro 2015 Sequoia 15,2 (with OpenCore Legacy) - Upgrade from working 3.13.4 to 3.15.2 --> menu is no longer popping up on single click.

Is there any place to look for logs or errors? Thank you!
