Preventing Nextcloud Desktop on macOS to connect to the internet makes the desktop app to drain the battery real fast. Activity Monitor reports 99% energy usage. Have confirmed nothing else was running.
I modified 1--5 files that are inside my Nextcloud folder which might've triggered the desktop app to try to sync.
Nextcloud version 3.4.4git (build 9585)
Git revision a3ece50
Using Qt 5.15.3, built against Qt 5.15.3
Using 'Secure Transport, macOS 12.3'
Running on macOS 12.3, arm64
Steps to reproduce
Block internet access via an app like TripMode or LittleSnitch
Expected behavior
The Nextcloud app does not sync since no connection to the internet is available without using significant energy (maybe trying to connect a lot?)

I confirm this, too. It bugs (pun intended) me everytime I'm leaving nextcloud desktop on when I'm using a tethered network since years. I have 300% CPU usage just for that one and often I only notice it after my battery is already drained quite a bit.
