⚠️ This issue respects the following points: ⚠️

  • This is a bug, not a question or a configuration/webserver/proxy issue.
  • This issue is not already reported on Github (I've searched it).
  • Nextcloud Server is up to date. See Maintenance and Release Schedule for supported versions.
  • I agree to follow Nextcloud's Code of Conduct.

Bug description

When creating a new folder trough windows using the Network Folder Location the Nextcloud windows client app makes.. Right clicking / New Folder creates a folder and allows me to edit the name and save it but then i see another folder is created using the default windows name New Folder

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Nextcloud Connection to Server Files/Folders on Windows Machine with Windows Client Installed
  2. Right Click, New, Folder
  3. Give a name to the folder whist it is in edit mode and press enter
  4. Refresh the root folder and you will find 2 folders were created, the one you created and given a name to and another one created at the same time called New Folder that is empty

Expected behavior

Only one folder should be created, the one created and named and no extra folder should be created.. seems like the SYNC system creates the folder on the server immediately as New Folder and does not take into account that that on creation windows allows you to edit folder name immediately and seems to be creating 2 folders instead of the 1 intended
