Uncertainty about 'gatsby-plugin-netlify' and 'netlify-plugin-gatsby' necessity and caching issues

I'm facing caching issues on my website, and I've noticed that both 'gatsby-plugin-netlify' and 'netlify-plugin-gatsby' have disappeared from their respective stores (see gatsbyjs repository). I'm not sure if these plugins are still required and if they're related to the caching problems. Need guidance on this issue.

I just found out that the package "gatsby-plugin-netlify" has moved fromhttps://github.com/gatsbyjs/gatsby/tree/master/packages/gatsby-plugin-netlify to https://github.com/netlify/gatsby-plugin-netlify. So, I had to remove it from my package.json and reinstall it to get the latest version. It might be a good idea to mention this in the README, just to help others out. Oh, and by the way, the GitHub link in the Gatsby Plugin Store is also pointing to the wrong repository (see Gatsby Plugin Netlify).

The netlify-plugin-gatsby respectively @netlify/plugin-gatsby got automatically removed from my Gatsby projects on Netlify. The plugin also didn't start up in the background, as the logs clearly showed. I even checked the project settings in the Netlify UI, but couldn't find this build plugin anywhere. So, I had to install this integration manually (see File-based installation).

Do you have any clue why this plugin isn't in the plugin registry anymore? It's a bit puzzling.

Anyway, for now, everything seems to be working fine again. Phew!
