Hello Community,
hope your patience will not run thin but to introduce myself shortly , i am a noob !
i joined a company few weeks ago and been assigned a task to revamp our Netbox machine , the previous guy made a machine using docker which is for me like chinese language to be honest .
anyway i built a new machine ubuntu 20.04 and installed Netbox with a clean install and now i want to move the current DB hosted on the docker version to our new machine so i can decomm the old machine ,
i feel really overwhelmed and i tried the usual way of export and import and then migrate using the python script manage.py but it just doesn't work. i end up with empty database .
i feel what i did wrong is the way i take a dump from the old DB , can someone help me with this process
here is a list of the containers on the old machine
i am available for any questions , i understand that my question could sound vague
Update when i run the manage.py migrate i get the following error
django.db.utils.ProgrammingError: permission denied for table django_migrations
and now when i try to log to the webpage
