Restore of the image attachements

Hi everyone!
I'm having issues to restore device images from a backup in my lab environment. I created a test device in DCIM module and attached an image to it (.jpg format). Then I made a backup of the netbox media folder according to the Wiki guide and saved it in the project folder. When I'm deleting this image from Netbox GUI and then trying to restore the entire media folder from a backup, I'm getting the following output in the console:

./image-attachments/
./image-attachments/.gitignore
./image-attachments/device_6_img_1.jpg
exit code: 0

Despite the fact that my test picture was successfully restored to the media folder and even linked to the proper device, I can't find it either in the device details or "Image Attachments".
At the same time it is accessible via direct link ~/media/image-attachments/device_6_img_1.jpg

Could you please tell if there is a way to backup and restore device images so they remain linked to the devices?
