HTTP Header Auth not working

I was using netbox-docker with LDAP auth for a while now and everything worked just fine.
Now I want to switch to HTTP Header auth. This doesn't seem to work.

I have a apache reverse proxy that sets the X-Remote-User header: RequestHeader set "X-Remote-User" expr=%{REMOTE_USER}

In env/netbox.env I have configured the following:

REMOTE_AUTH_ENABLED=True
#REMOTE_AUTH_BACKEND=netbox.authentication.LDAPBackend
REMOTE_AUTH_AUTO_CREATE_USER=True
REMOTE_AUTH_HEADER=HTTP_X_REMOTE_USER

When looking at the tcpdump using tcpdump -i lo -nn -s0 -A tcp port 8000 I can see the X-Remote-User header beeing set to my username. Still I'm not logged in. Basic auth still works though with my domain password (I guess thats stored from when ldap auth was active).

Activating the netbox.auth logger with loglevel DEBUG doesn't show anything. Am I missing something here?

I figured it out... I just wasted a lot of my time :D

I only restartet the netbox container after every env change. Instead the container has to be recreated to reload the envitronment -_-
