Split.js gutters don't drag when over contents

I encountered this problem when using split.js. The gutters generated by split.js come with in an opaque form(see through), which means that when it goes over the contents of the div or element to the left, it looses its drag function.

I would love if this is issue is considered. Thanks in Advance 😊
