- Added new colors - Increased visibility for org blocks - org-date is underlined - document info and vars have improved visibility - org-todo and org-done are now in a box for contrast with the text (overkill?) - contrast improved for org-meta-line and org-quote
- Mode line is distinguishable from hl-line and bg, has a faint box - Active mode line has a brighter box - Colors changed for link and hl-line

I'm not sure how low-contrast you want this theme to be, so you might not like some changes, like the mode line.
org-blocks weren't the same as the screenshots, so I modified them.
