INSTALLATION NOTES - WIN

FEATURES

INSTALLATION
preconditions: java 
               Notepad++ (an ASCII editor)
               StickFonts
               FontForge

1) download all fies in a dir writable (e.g. C:\myprogs\fontfilter)
2) edit and modify the file dofilter.bat 
3) optional: Add a link on desktop to dofilter.bat using fontfilter.ico

USE

1) Convert the base TTF font to CHR using StickFont

2) Edit configuration file fontfilter.ffc before to run dofilter.bat. Set:
       a) Input file
       b) Range of processed glyphs
       c) Filter transformation and parameters
       d) Output file (SVG)
       note: the file fontfilter.fcc.model is the initial default. Don't change it.
3) Run filter using dofilter.bat

4) Open the output SVG font in FontForge to see results
5) Edit glyphs as required
6) Save as TTF
