Jota can't open file from Encdroid

Jota is a well known text editor and I have it as default for txt files. Recently I learned about Encdroid and now I'm trying it. The bug is when I open a file from encrypted volume, then jota says "can't open file" and I see just blank new file.
but

1. if I open txt file from file manager then all ok
2. if I unset jota as default and open file from encdroid, then application chooser is displayed and jota opens file normally
3. if I set another text editor as default and open file from encdroid, then another editor also opens file normally.

so this is not encdroid or jota individual, but encdroid+jota together issue.

I already sent it to jota developer but he couldn't reproduce. Could you also check please.
