4K may also be known as "pendant" or "diamond" because the device is shaped like one.

The Fire TV Stick 4K is gen 1., i.e. not the Stick Gen 3.

There is also the Fire TV Stick (Basic Edition), which is roughly the Fire Stick Gen 2 repackaged for global audiences without the Alexa voice remote. It shares the AFTT device code.
