Currently, the app checks for heat pumps, gas heaters and heat network connections. When none are there, the share of these heating technologies is set to zero. Because of the auto-balancing functionality in the ETM, this results in coal- and oil-fired heaters in the built environment. When no heat assets are included in the ESDL, the app should leave the heating technology mix for what it is.
