while i understand the minimal burden you talk about... i think you still should NOT drop support for 2k/XP you have something great here, that is how MS should had improved, instead of allowing all that new junk of stuff... but because of that and QT and whatnot... XP people are the ones that value most your work here... and vista+ people tend to disregard win32 GUI (unless by using some framework that uses that indirectly)....
so i dont think its a good idea to drop support for 2k/XP on that matter, despite of the burden
and congracts for the great work... (and for keeping those usable from C)
