The og:image for ocw-www is hard-coded in the ocw-hugo-themes template. It uses an image that does not have a great aspect ratio og:image:

Twitter:

Notes:

  • What aspect ratio should og:image be? Is this platform-dependent? (Facebook, twitter, etc)

It's a little bit better with the new logo, but still not great:

I don't know if there is a way to give Twitter a hint about the appropriate aspect ratio, or if we need to find a square image. If we do find a square image, is there a way to offer it to Twitter but not other og:image users, like Facebook and Slack, which look great as is?
