How does this library differ from the official AWS SDK?

Amazon has an SDK available for Node and the browser here: https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-js

How does this library compare to the official repo? What benefits does it provide in comparison? I'm asking out of curiosity.

This library seems to have access to the product advertising API amongst other things... I don't believe the official API has this.

as @Ronald-Diemicke said, it looks like the official api don't have access to product advertising api, but i found this https://github.com/dmcquay/node-apac, that do exactly that, and only that.

haven't checked the code to see if its good, but should be.
