make a release or tag versions ?

It seems you are keeping a version numbering for the code :

Would you mind creating a github release, or at least pushing a tag with the version every time you release a new one ?

This would help a lot with tools used to automate the build and create packages version-specific.
Having tags or releases allows to easily pull a specific version, rather than pulling the master branch and checking the version name on the .cpp file.
