substituteInPlace is useless for binary-patching

    substituteInPlace some_binary \
      --replace \
        'some text   ' \
        'another text'

this fails with error

consumeEntire(): ERROR: Input null bytes, won't process

workaround: use good old sed

sed -i 's/some text   /another text/' some_binary
