Long term (not alpha release)

  • expire cache
  • retry failed fetch occasionally
  • retry after new metadata arrives with a different url
  • support SVGs (see rust crate "resvg")
  • animate animated GIFs
  • setting to disable avatar fetching
  • rounding of corners
