This has nothing to do with Flask-SocketIO, that error is coming from another extension, possibly Flask-WTF. Have you considered doing what the error says? It's simple enough to add a secret key. |

So, I created a Flask application and I used Flask-SocketIO is a part of it, it worked fine until I removed the
debug=True
underif __name__ == "__main__"
app.py:
Now it gave me 500 error:
RuntimeError: A secret key is required to use CSRF.
Am I missing something?
What is the best way to set Flask config variables when using Flask-SocketIO?
