Do you want Google and other web indexes to be able to direct users to these pages? Some markup will tell them what you want. Content after login is blocked by the login, but you might want other pages to be indexed.

is the default if nothing is present
tells a crawler to index the current page content, don't follow links
you can probably fill in the other two valid options, don't index and do follow the links, and ignore this page

I'm at home where my browsers don't have the same debugging tools I've added at work, rule of thumb for quick crawlability test - turn off javascript and see if you can navigate to all the pages you wwant indexed.
