REPL Colors in terminal are unreadable. How do I configure them? #24389

Suddenly the REPL is printing all these garish colors. But some of them are unreadable - dark purple on black for example. How do I configure that?

Thanks for filing this issue.
@fritz-trawa This is actually coming from the new Python REPL from cpython itself.
Could you file issue there? https://github.com/python/cpython/issues
