This is a problem with a recent update to the Jupyter extension rather than a problem with VScode itself. I recommend just downgrading the version of your Jupyter extension to one where this problem no longer persists. |

I am having the same issue now and then and it is annoying to say at least. I have to restart the whole vscode in the middle of doing some modelling. |
