What it be possible to add an option to select a decoder to be used? For example, when resizing an iOS .HEIC file, I would like to reformat it to .JPEG. This would be an option beyond just a fallback. Perhaps the presents also have an encoder option.
Scenario when this would be used?
There are times when products and services do not support .HEIC, so I have to create a PNG or JPEG prior to uploading.

+1 Came here to ask for the same feature. I already use Image Resizer to make the images from my iPhone smaller for sharing online but the files are still in HEIC format, which many websites don't accept for upload. So having the option to not just resize but also force the output file type to either png or jpg would be great
