Access the Sandbox

The IoT Boards comes bundled with a pre-provisioned demo with a couple of tutorials. To access the demo:

1. Connect a AVR-IoT WA, AVR-IoT WG, PIC-IoT WA, or PIC-IoT WG through USB

   • If you have a AVR-IoT WG or PIC-IoT WG board, convert it to the AWS variant (WA) by following this video.

2. Download the newest firmware and follow the instructions to install

   • AVR-IoT WA: https://github.com/microchip-pic-avr-solutions/avr-iot-aws-sensor-node-mplab/releases
   • PIC-IoT WA: https://github.com/microchip-pic-avr-solutions/pic-iot-aws-sensor-node/releases

3. Open the CURIOSITY drive

4. Open CLICK-ME.htm

5. Enter your Wi-Fi Credentials and download a WIFI.CFG file

6. Drag & Drop the WIFI.CFG File to the CURIOSITY Drive

7. Wait for the board to connect. A blinking yellow light indicates that the board has connected successfully.
