I downloaded Ghostwriter and am so impressed! However, when I click on a color in the color palette, nothing happens; I can only write in default black. I downloaded it a second time and tried it again with the same results.

Hey @GitHubBear, sorry for the delay. It’s been a while since any one has touched this code, I’m impressed it’s still working at all. Have you made any progress?

I simply copied the code directly from the demo, and it's working fine.
Sorry, I didn't update my post; I thought I bookmarked it, but I couldn't
find the URL.

I'm amazed no one has touched the code; it seems like such a cool idea -
not just an idea for goofing around but very useful.

I'd like to figure out how to turn the artboard into a background for
articles stored in a database. A person who's reading the article could
then underline or highlight words in the article, write words or draw
little pictures in the margins, etc.

The problem with that is you have to give the canvas a height of 100%. I
found a generic script that supposedly does that, but the GhostWriter
script has TWO canvases, so I'm stuck.

Are you aware of other scripts that do similar things - allowing people to
create artwork? I wonder if that's why so few people are using your code;
maybe they've found something similar.

But even if I can't figure out how to give it a height of 100%, I might
still use it as a pop-up window, inviting people to draw pictures related
to articles they're reading.

Thanks for the cool code! ;)
