I believe armv8-a+sve2 is supported from gcc 10.x. When I tried to execute the following command still getting unrecognized argument :
/opt/homebrew/Cellar/aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu/11.2.0_1/toolchain/bin/aarch64-linux-gnu-gcc-11.2.0 -march=armv8-a+sve2 Assembler messages: Error: unknown architectural extension `sve2' Error: unrecognized option -march=armv8-a+sve2
armv8-a+sve compiles without any issue.
