Google Apps scripts provide new features since the last gdit_gdocs release in Oct 2011. Use them!

https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guide_libraries (avoid duplicate source code?)
https://developers.google.com/apps-script/class_scriptproperties (replaces PDS?)
