I discovered an odd thing today.
I use the ARS game system.
I was modifying settings for the direction indicators for About Face to never show up on NPC, because we use top down icons for those and round portraits for players. so we want the facing indicators on those only.
so I set never show on NPC and 2 PC tokens on the map stopped displaying facing indicators, as if they are NPCs… they are not.
What does About Face look for to determine the difference ??

ok... I figured out that you are determining if something is a PC based on 'Player controlled'. didn't notice that at first.
I figured it would be based on actor type, but I guess that could change by game system...
please disregard.
