I get this strange error.

For reference, I am going waaaay off target running nagrestconf on Ubuntu 16.04 with PHP 7.0 and Nagios 4.3.1 compiled from source (and installed per the official instructions at:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagioscore/docs/nagioscore/4/en/quickstart-ubuntu.html

In the first screenshot, note that it says "Success" at the bottom but the Choose file field says "No file selected." Unsurprisingly, the second screenshot says it failed.

Many thanks for finding that! I don't use Safari (or Mac) and don't have access to it (I use Linux at work and home) so can't test Safari, but can you try the same thing on Firefox and Chrome? Thanks!

I built a brand new VM with a fresh install of nagrestconf on Ubuntu 14.04 for testing.
I can absolutely confirm that Safari fails.
I can also confirm that Google Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit) works fine and imports the initial config.
And I can confirm that Mozilla Firefox for Mac 53.0.3 works fine and imports the initial config.
So this problem only occurs on Safari.

This is important to know, many thanks for testing this! Now I have to get myself a cheap mac mini...

Meanwhile I suppose I should leave this issue open so other people can easily see it.
