This project seems quite useful, does anyone maintain similar project right now? Please give us some hint if there is any.

there are active PRs during 2021 still. Can anyone just fork this project and take over the project, then we can merge all the useful PRs?

I'm not really a project maintainer at least not for anything used by anyone else. I imagine even if it is community developed it's still a pain to be that person. If someone else does want to take on that mantel I would like to see this project continued.
