After seeing the number of stars of this project steadily grow since the original 0.0.1 release, I have decided to improve the GRUB theme - more colors, more layouts, better quality. And now with automated CI builds for releases.

You might have noticed that we are 0.1.x now. This is to reflect the new color schemes that you can checkout at SHOWCASE.md. There was a little blunder with the CI not attaching artefacts in 0.1.0, so that release is now deleted and the issue was fixed in this current release.

The new good stuff

• Added 2 new colorschemes: Day and Night - lets hope Hoyoverse isn't very mad at me using their colors.
• A new layout - one that more closely reflects the loading screen.
• A revamp of the classic layout.
• If by chance you're on NixOS, the installation for you is just a couple lines of Nix. Nix is also now used to build the theme in the CI.

Lets talk about the new nix build process

v0.0.1 was created entirely by hand. The iteration cycle, from changes in source to preview, was really slow. Now everything is generated from source files: images from SVG, fonts from TTF and packaged up into a working theme. And on Nix, you can preview the theme without having to do any work. All powered by a separate project that I have started - grub-theme.nix.

Unfortunately if you don't have Nix installed, you cannot build the theme automatically. However, Nix eliminates manual labor in generating a theme and automates the entire process which is a tradeoff I am fine with.
