A customer is having issue with LS because when they change the dimension from 'Date' into 'Date (Year Month)', the Matomo Looker Studio Connector shows data for only the first day of the month. Please see the screenshot below provided by the customer. A website with about 25.000 visitors per day and the second figure shows the view after changing the dimension.

@enual do you remember how this user changed the Dimension from Date to Date (Year Month)?

@diosmosis sorry but it was not stated on the email they sent us. I'll go ahead and ask.

@enual thanks. Just for context, there's no built in 'Date (Year Month)' option provided by the looker studio connector, so either they're using someone else's product, or they did somehow added a new dimension.

Hi there, Looker Studio offers the native option to re-aggregate data from date level to month (or week, or quarter) level. This is how I changed the dimension from date to date (year month).

@hugolouter I see, thanks for the clarification. In that case this behavior will indeed require #3 to be finished.

Actually ^ is not entirely true, we'll be able to provide similar functionality through a new Month dimension soon.
