The big idea
Hi everyone !
As I was increasingly sharing parts of my vault online that wasn't part of this repository, and because so many of you had starred this repo, I decided to share my new and mostly stable changes.
I created this repo quickly after switching to obsidian for my personal life management. I kept learning new things here and there, and am now quite confident about my workflow.
I will write a complete documentation in the following days and add all of this to the README.
I really hope it'll keep helping people.
Breaking changes
- No more higher horizons from GTD => I spent my time rewriting my visions (3-5 year goals), searching who I am, what was my purpose and so on. I am now quite sure that yes, this is important. But I (and probably many people) should focus on horizons up to yearly goals only. And work on higher ones only on some rare occasion, and might just create a few notes on their journal to clarify their ideas.
- No more dashboards or taskboard => They are now included only on periodic notes. The whole workflow now relies heavily on daily and periodic notes, as they are more convenient to do reviews and fix goals to periods.
- No more workout logging. Obsidian is too slow, and was really a pain to use in the end. I now use Hevy and love it.
- Added scripts to simplify the template workflow. The template file is automatically selected based on the filename (periodic notes) or new note location (areas or inbox)
- The workflow now heavily relies on Todoist as an Inbox, Obsidian as an organizer, and optionally Super Productivity for day-to-day work. One can also just use the
Today
part of the new daily note template - I removed google-calendar plugin because it was slow and big. One could add it back to some templates, but I decided to remove it entirely.
- I also removed plugins that were no longer useful because of new Obsidian updates.
- I added a bunch of quality of life plugins to increase typing speed, add shortcuts, and stuff
- I also added snippet to help with Obsidian appearance

0.0.1
This was the first ever released version of my workflow. It has been tested and will (hopefully) be updated soon enough with a complete documentation instead of just two blog posts.
I have no ETA to provide, but seeing so many people showing interest to this project of mine motivates me to do it.
