I wanted to bring attention to a small, but useful new feature in the nomadnet v0.2.0. You can add destination type specifiers to links in micron pages. This means that a link like
lxmf@368f994c056de0d8882855eb0d627497
will be interpreted as a link to an LXMF address, and clicking on it will open a conversation with that peer.Technically, links with destination type specifiers should include the full destination aspect string, so in this case, it would really be
lxmf.delivery@368f994c056de0d8882855eb0d627497
, but programs can implement their own shorthands, andlxmf
is a shorthand forlxmf.delivery
.I think this will be a useful concept for helping programs like nomadnet deal with links to different destination types.
